Share content in a meeting
When you share content in the Business Digital Voice with Webex App, all meeting participants can clearly see the discussion. While anyone can share, only one person can do so at a time.
Share a screen or application during a meeting
- From the meeting window, click Share.
- Choose the screen or application that you want to share.
- Check the Show me in front of the presentation checkbox to display your video in front of the shared content.
- Click Share.

If you share your screen, your Business Digital Voice with Webex App windows are shown by default. To share your application window and all floating windows associated with the app, you must select Share all windows from an application.
Webex App doesn’t display notifications for incoming messages or calls when you're sharing your screen or application while in a meeting.
End screen share during a meeting
When you are done sharing your screen and want to continue your meeting. Click Stop to end your screen sharing experience.

Advanced sharing options
When sharing content with video and/or audio, you can choose from preset options to ensure optimal clarity and sound.
- Click the Advanced tab on the share content window.
- From the optimize drop-down list, choose one of the following:
- Automatically Optimize—Chooses the best optimization for your content type.
- Optimize for text and images—Displays text and images in your shared content at the highest resolution and clarity possible.
- Optimize for motion and video—The video plays back more smoothly, as some resolution is sacrificed in favor of a higher frame rate to reduce lag and increase fluidity in your shared video.
Note: If you choose this option, Share computer audio is automatically turned on for you. - Share computer audio—Allows others to hear your computer audio in addition to your microphone audio.
