Retrieve a voicemail message from a shared phone number
In some instances, individuals within your company may share the same phone number even if they have individual devices.
In some instances, individuals within your company may share the same phone number even if they have individual devices. Typically, if a telephone number is shared a voicemail box is also shared. However, there are some instances one telephone number can have more than one voicemail box.

How can I retrieve my voicemail if I share my number?
- Dial the voicemail portal number or press the voicemail key on your IP Phone. Depending on your setup you may need to enter your voicemail extension. If you are not sure of your voicemail extension, ask your Administrator.
- Enter your voicemail passcode.
- Follow the prompts to listen to the voicemail messages.
