Chat in a meeting
You can send messages to everyone in your meeting or chat with participants privately.
Chat with everyone
When you join a meeting, you can view all the messages that were sent since the meeting started, and chats to everyone are saved in the post-meeting summary. If you don't lock your Personal Room and have back-to-back meetings, anyone who joins can see messages since the Personal Room was open.
- Select the Show chat icon. When there are unread messages, a blue dot shows on the Show chat icon.
- At the top of the chat window, click Everyone, and type your message in the message area.
- Select Send Message or press Enter.

If your organization doesn't save meeting messages, you can't forward or flag a message. Messages sent during breakout sessions aren't saved.
If your organization saves meeting messages after the meeting ends, you can access the meeting messages and forward them to another person or space in your organization, if you have Messaging enabled.
